This "meteorite" also has an
interesting story behind it.
It was apparently found by some scuba divers, off the beach near Santa
Barbara, California, about 30 ft (10m) down. They hoisted it to the surface, and
then later when they tried to cut it into pieces, it "dulled the diamond saw
blade".
Each of the scuba divers has since met a tragic fate: "car wrecks,
shootings, a massive heart attack."
The little dinosaur sitting on its point seems to thrive there, however, and
the rock itself looks content in its comfortable grotto. Meteorite? I don't
think so. But then, here, who knows?
