The left half of this stone assembly is from several hundred miles north of Phoenix, according to Gus.  It 's been put together from a collection of beautifully incised sedimentary rocks, that have weathered into these "terraced" looking stones.
   This miniature landscape is not unlike the landscape the rocks came from: the wonderfully sculptured mesas and pinnacles of southern Utah.
