Spiral petroglyphs on a
boulder are among a set of ancient Hohokam ruins high up on Shaw Butte. This
mountain -- part of the -- is at the north end of
7th Avenue, in Central Phoenix.
This set of ruins is thought to have been a prehistoric solar observatory,
