This picture looks up Bell Canyon, in the McDowell Sonoran Conservancy.  The McDowell Mountains, within which the park lies, run approximately north to south, and form a stunning backdrop to the city of Scottsdale.
   Most of the range is of age, consisting of both and rocks.  A network of trails allows you to explore these mountains, which look down onto some of Arizona's nicest resorts.
   The view is roughly to the east.
