Bartlett Lake is a man-made reservoir on the
Verde River, northeast of Phoenix and Scottsdale, Arizona. Popular with
local boaters and campers, the lake provides a welcome oasis amidst the summer heat of the
Sonoran Desert.

This view looks to the southeast, and you can see the marina on the nearby
shore. The reservoir is approximately 12 miles (19km) long, and has a shoreline of
about 33 miles (53km).
